The Torch

RSM0812

The beauty of a falling star, as space and time begins anew,

My love it travels oh so far, to get my spirit through.

Without you lingering by my side, the truth is all but hid,

Mine ears hear echoes in the tides, as the waters did.

I'll wander listening to a stone, its silence oh quite wise.

Its heavy though, it shines like gold, its elements can not die.

I'll mine the silver from the earth, and gold will fall from trees.

And shinny rocks will lose their worth in the worlds reprieve.

The faith of money stays in the deepest pockets of mankind.

For surely natures touch, will pay the very kind.
