AUREAL BEAUTY 

 

The flesh turned into marble,
in an instant it became pure beauty.
She looked at me with nothing to hide,
a moment’s beauty laid bare.

 

While she stood in her nakedness,
with nothing to conceal in her youth.

 

A flash of that unforgettable light,
when the flesh became aureal,
marble of beauty without end.

 

So beautiful, such a precious figure,
she smiled at me in living flesh.

 

In that living flesh that became eternal,
in the marble of aureal perfection,
untouched by the passing of time.

 

 

A perfect moment in an imperfect poem of marble and words.

BELLEZA AUREA

 

La carne se convirtió en mármol,
un instante, se volvió la belleza,
me miró sin nada que ocultar,
pura belleza de un momento.

 

Mientras estaba en la desnudez,
sin nada que ocultar en su juventud.

 

Un fogonazo de esa luz imborrable,
cuando la carne se hizo de oro,
mármol de la belleza sin final.

 

Tan hermosa, tan preciosa figura
que me sonrió mirándome en carne.

 

En esa carne viva que se hizo eterna,
en el mármol de la perfección áurea,
que no destruye ni el tiempo pasado.

 

 

Un momento perfecto en un poema imperfecto de mármol y palabras.

    Carlos, this is one beautiful poem, my friend. The way beauty and impermanence intertwine here feels timeless…like memory trying to hold flesh still before time can touch it. There’s something deeply tender in the atmosphere of this. Wonderful write. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
