Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Life is full of seasons. This is a season of transition for me, where I will be moving with my family to a new location. As such, with much logistics to consider, I am doing my best to keep up. Please know if I accidentally don't respond, it is not because I am ghosting or becoming distant. Once things settle after the move, I am sure life will return to some normalcy. In the meantime, and always:
Read 👓, Write ✍️, Rise 🌅, Realize 🤯.

peace is in the heart?
yeah, i suppose,
that might be the start.
but
let me ask this—
to not I’d be remiss—
where do you
locate that very heart?
wait!—in the brain?
yes that’s plain!
and, again,
let’s not refrain
from asking this question,
why abstain?—
what happens if the brain
starts to act insane?
what if the part that
holds the heart
begins to malfunction,
regardless how off the chart?
what if the wires cross
sparking anxiety and loss—
depression to death, an albatross—
where, then, is peace found?
rather than wading unwound,
we must stand on solid ground
before ignorance is lost and
understanding found.

Doh! I gotta Think Light sometimes - well, most of the time really! lol. But can see the dark side of poems too, such as an ominous glug heard from the dark depths. We know who it is! lol.
Thank you, Orchi. Sorry again for the delayed response...I'm currently buried beneath moving boxes (not Spinach cans) and trying to catch up. 😄 Haha! I suspect the dark depths are exactly where the glugs originate. Before long Scooby is barking warnings, Tom of course, is now missing a knitting needle, and the malfunction machine is humming ominously in the background. We know who is responsible. 😄🕯️🎭🙏🖤
Thank you T. lol.
a challenging thought, good write
Thank you, Norman. Sorry for the delayed reply...I'm in the midst of a move and playing catch-up. 😄 I appreciate that. Sometimes the questions are more important than the answers. Grateful you stopped by, my friend. 🕯️🎭🙏🖤
Wow Tristan this is so powerful and real, love your whole reflection down to your last lines my dear friend. How true we need to be balanced well letting go of the ignorance if we wish to find answers and understanding. Kudos 🌹
Thank you, Teddy. Sorry for the delayed response...I'm currently navigating moving chaos and trying to catch up. 😄 I appreciate your thoughtful read of this. The search for understanding often begins with recognizing the limits of what we know, and I'm glad that thread came through for you. Thank you for your kindness and support, my dear friend. 🕯️🎭🙏🖤
A delve into the psychology of the mind in rhyme and poetic form. Been there for forty years my friend and there is no good answer for many of the delusional, the depressed, the anxious and disturbed have no peace or if so are not left in it. A good question my friend
Thank you, Soren. Sorry for again the delayed reply...I'm in the midst of a move and playing catch-up. 😄 I appreciate your perspective on this. The longer I wrestle with these questions, the more I realize how few easy answers there are. Grateful for your thoughts, my friend. 🕯️🎭🙏🖤
Most welcome Tristan
Wow this is more than deep and meaningful. It raises the profound question of what is the heart and where is it. So the follow up question is where is peace found.A great excursion into the philosophical.ENJOYABLE
Thank you, David. Sorry again for the delayed reply. 😄 I appreciate this. The questions ended up becoming more important to me than any answers I might offer. Grateful you took the journey with me, my friend. 🕯️🎭🙏🖤
Psy has diagnosed me with a fatal poetic malfunction but I wade cool unwound ...
ank you, Lorenz. Sorry for the delayed response...I'm currently navigating moving chaos and trying to catch up. 😄 Psy may call it a fatal poetic malfunction, but I suspect it is simply a condition of seeing the world too vividly to leave it alone. Same here, my friend. Continue wading cool unwound. 🕯️🎭🙏🖤
