There's nothing more comforting
Then the human touch
For someone who's feeling down and out
It can mean so very much
The holding of a hand
The security of a hug
Can give one's heartstrings
A soft and gentle tug
It will let them know
They are not alone
Don't ever be afraid
To let your gentler side be shown
Never underestimate
The meaningfulness of a touch
It will show your human side and
Sometimes that's just enough
