Like ships passing each other in the dark
Or a friendly face smiling at you in the park
Are each of you – the poets
Who energize my mental health ..
I may never see you
Nor you me
It may be we will never meet
And only online each other greet -
But the bonds of poetry that tie us
Though as fragile as can be
have a core of strength that’s hard to place
When I read your verse – I feel it’s face to face..
So continue to share the ideas you nurse
And I will try to know you through your enlightening verse..

A lovely reflection on how poetry connects hearts across distance. Warm, heartfelt, and uplifting.
i wanted to thank the people who enriched my life with their verse, and what better way than this?

You are welcome.
thank you very much for your encouraging comments...
Poetry, art, music are definitely universal languages which helps as meet and understand each other. Nice poem!
Poetry, art, and music definitely transcend language barriers despite the fact that they may be interpreted differently based on experiences and cultural backgrounds, and their power lies in creating common ground and expressing emotions and ideas.
yes - the love of arts bind us together beautifully - thanks for the feedback
This poem becomes most real as I have received feedback from so many over the past years and now feel such a part of my life. Well written in good rhyme it is a fave
that is exactly the reason this poem was written - thanks for your motivational feedback...
You are most welcome Nafisa
Thank you and God bless you always .
Safina, this really touched me. Thereβs such warmth and gratitude running through every line. It feels like a celebration of the connections we build here...people separated by miles and circumstances, yet somehow gathered around the same fire of words. Beautifully done, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
i do feel an unknown bond connecting me to you - fellow poets - and that is what I have strived to convey - we may be separated by continents and circumstances, and yet we are there for each other...
Your positive feedback does the same in return! ποΈπ
When I read the verse that is shared here, I feel so humbled that my simple offerings find a place here too - so am glad to read and respond always...

How truly wonderful, and yes I feel I personally know quite a few of my friends online even if we've never known eachother, I guess it's the mannerisms through speech, which is why we write in the first place, to share our imagery and hopes and dreams and fears together. This one deserves a nobel nomination it's gorgeous and uplifting. πΉ
Thanks a ton - very noble of you to think it's fit for a Nobel nomination...i write in simple verse whilst i read complicated and beautiful poems from the others in the group - and then wonder whether and how I deserve to have a place amongst them..self doubts keep creeping in - though it does not deter me from writing what i feel [lol]
yes - i can visualize you as a very caring, graceful and gracious person, whom i would have loved to have met in perrson...let's see what fate has in store for us though.
Happy weekend...
