and there I was smirking
as my knight retells the tale
of the far away land of utopia
apparently
they use gold as chains and kids toys
I can’t help but wonder
what do we do
they would consider
to be strange for their times
nonetheless it doesn’t matter
what values this foolish Utopia has
I hope to trade with them
a people we can learn from
grow to understand and respect
there’s no reason for us to fight
I send my knight off
“Wipe that damn smile off your face!”
yet I understand… peace is upon us

A fanciful metaphor for cultural differences. Nicely done
well done
