Mortal Kombat II

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Initially, wasn't sure on Karl Urban as Johnny Cage,

A franchise what I've grown up with since a young age.

He did a good job like the rest of the cast,

Not much storytelling, fights came fast.

Shinnock's amulet up for grabs,

Baraka shoots and then stabs.

Raiden is in a spot of trouble,

Jax with the robotic muscle.

Quan Chi with an inverted cross on his forehead,

Shang Tsung only wants Earthrealm souls dead.

Some shocking fatalities did leave me perplexed,

Guess I'll have to wait for part 3 to see what's next.

This really brought a smile, my friend. I like how you balance your personal connection to the franchise with a quick rundown of the action. The fights, the familiar faces, the quest for the amulet, and those shocking fatalities all make it feel like a fan's honest reaction rather than a review. And the ending leaves that same feeling the film apparently did...now we wait and see what part three brings. Fun write. You're basically saying "Get over here!" to part 3 rather than "Fatality!" to part 2. 😂 I totes now want to see it. Thanks for the poetic review! 🐉🥷
