The little boy skipped through the forest,
Wandered through the night and day.
The others never dared to lay a foot
In nature's darkened way.
The little boy woke up at dawn,
Whistled to the birds in trees.
He listened to all their ancient stories,
Told by the forest's gentle breeze.
He pet the squirrel along the way,
Traced the roots of every tree,
He said "Today's a beautiful day,
So live and set your spirit free".
The sun set and gave its path
To the moon who called the night,
It said "The time of day is over,
So come and radiate your light".
The little boy sat by the river,
And dipped his toes inside.
He listened to its quiet streams
That tamed his thoughts so wild.
The little boy skipped through the forest,
When the others begged him to stay.
They said "Nature's rage is dangerous",
But the boy still walked his way.
