The impact of your words
leave an indelible mark,
unseen to the naked eye
but quite real, quite painful;
a lasting impression,
my spirit cringes at those
slight changes in facial expression
that telegraph that
another blow is approaching.

Beautiful expressed!!
Thank you so much!
Here sensitivity approaches paranoia or maybe post traumatic stress. A sad poem of present reaction to past treatment
Thank you
You are most welcome
Fränz, I think many people who have lived through difficult relationships or environments will recognize this immediately. That feeling of reading a room, reading a face, and knowing what is coming before it arrives is all too real. This resonated with me. Wonderful write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you!
Interesting write man. Messed up pic to go along with it. We are all alone sometimes and need to make the best out of it. That is what i got from your poem. Hope im close.
