Endless nights, endless skies
And those eyes, deep and wide
Just two souls wrapped in each other,
Underneath the stars.
The beauty of the night,
Cannot compare to their love.
The duty of the stars,
Cannot compete with their shine.
The cozy wind, the rosy mind
The dreamy bloom, the beaming moon
Were all unknown,
To the adoring hearts.
Hair strands dancing in the wind,
Their hands romancing in the land.
Petals fall on these beauties,
While the wind sings midnight melodies.
Moonlight turns bright soft yellow,
But time is frozen for these fellows.
Oh, to find a love like this
Is a fortune, a beautiful lie made true.
Let them be each other's shadow,
Through every low and height,
Unlike the stars that stay so far,
Trapped within the night.

Welcome to MPS this is a beautiful poetic romance set in wonderful near rhymes internal and latter ending. These near rhymes give a most natural flow to the poem and still carry a feel of traditional rhyme pulling the story along. The mood is set with the atmosphere painted in night and moon and the emotion emphasized in the character's lack of awareness of it. Smitten they see only each other. The poem ends with wishes for its continuation. Very nicely done.
