FISH

I walked so much through life that I burst,
my feet wounded from walking.

My heart is burst open,
from feeling so much out there.

I am that strange fish,
a fish out of itself,
out of place.

I swam through the air,
and soaked myself in living,
I am the one everyone looks at.

I don’t care, I’m past all that,
I walk beside it and take my own path,
that path that twists around out there.

On those days that repeat again and again,
and sometimes I drop the nonsense,
and float above what’s real,
in that parallel world.

I am that fish, the one who swims,
the one who awakens admiration,
that being so scorned for living,
but as long as I can hold on, I’ll swim like a fish,
through that world that is mine and everyone’s to live in.

I am that fish no one can eat because it’s indigestible,
that fish wounded from living so long on land.

Just a fish with a human appearance,
who feels and thinks like a being,
like that person he once was,
who drowned,
in the air.

PEZ

Andé tanto por la vida, que reventé,
tengo los pies heridos de andar.

Tengo el corazón reventado,
de tanto sentir por ahí.

Soy ese pez extraño,
un pez fuera de sí,
fuera de lugar.

Navegué por el aire,
y me empapé de vivir,
soy ese, al que miran todos.

Me da igual, yo paso de todo,
paso al lado y tomo mi camino,
ese camino que va a vueltas por ahí.

En esos días que se repiten una y otra vez,
y a veces me dejo de monsergas,
y floto por encima de lo real,
en ese mundo paralelo.

Soy ese pez, que nada,
que despierta admiración,
ese ser tan denostado por vivir,
pero mientras aguante, nadaré como pez,
por ese mundo que es el mío y el de todos para vivir.

Soy ese pescado que nadie puede comer por ser indigesto,
ese pez que está herido de tanto vivir en la tierra.

Solo un pez con apariencia humana,
que siente y piensa como un ser,
como esa persona que fue,
que murió ahogado
en el aire.
