Sweet Town

Anthony Hanible

Sugar air

Everywhere

Drifting slow

Like a whispered prayer

Tiny suns rise

Hushed and shy

Glowing soft

As a cradle sky

Strawberry gleam

Quiet dream

Blushing sweet

In a moonlit stream

Pineapple gold

Warm and bold

Singing light

That the night can hold

Blueberry tune

Low as June

Humming soft

To the silver moon

Lemon spark bright

Gentle light

Fading softly

Into velvet night

Cinnamon spin

Warm within

Like a lullaby

Made of sugar skin

Strawberry fire

Soft desire

Glowing slow

Like a sleepy choir

Apple glow

Even flow

Resting sweet

In a sunset’s glow

Banana heat

Golden beat

Rocking slow

Like a drifting sheet

Blueberry chill

Evening still

Cool as stars

On a distant hill

Peach star shine

Perfect line

Guiding dreams

As the night unwinds.

Joy arrives

Softly thrives

Sweet Town hums

As the whole world sighs
