Julius sat in the graveyard where is wife was buried.
He started talking out loud to the heavens.
“I wonder who will care when I die.
Will they have a fan fare with flags waving?
Will flags be set at halfmast?
I wonder if the world will stop turning.
I would be curious to see who came to my grave,
Would I see my parents again?
I wonder would someone place a nice white rose on my grave?
Or would the world just rattle with a giggle and keep turning.
This unimagined place has lost its wonderful.”
They say “You can lead a boy to wonder but you can’t make him think”
While he was quiet an old Lady came over to him.
“I am sorrow but you seemed to be yelling a lot.
May I ask you why you seem so sad.”
Julius didn’t answer her.
“I’m Mary nice to meet you.
I am here to visit my husband’s grave.
He died of pancreatic cancer.
I didn’t know what the pancreas is until then.
I don’t know much but he was happy to go. He told me so.
His exact words were. ”See you in the next chapter.”
I’m going to Las Vegas when I die.
It's such a lively place. Heaven sounds boring.
I won't to play the slot machines for eternity.
But you know what they say.
“You can lead an old lady to Vegas but you can’t make her win.”
Julius looked at her and smiled.
Thank you dear I feel better now.
