Suddenly
the birds fly away
it is my turn
Stopped all
years in an instant
looking at the Sun
Reassured:
there ’s something similar
to me ’n’ a river
In combat
at the river mouth
the waters win

- Comment from author about the poem: The first haiku was born from a sudden inspiration. In the second, I tried to capture the essence of time, with little success. In the third and fourth, I tried to find some meaning beyond the surface.
