About her photograph by Alexandr Blokk

Ksey_Gan

Of valor, deeds, and earthly glory game

I was forgetting them on this sorrowful earth,

When your face, in its simple frame,

Shone before me upon the tabletops.

The hour struck, and you left our home then,

I cast my cherished ring into the night space.

You gave your fate to another lucky  man,

And I forgot that used been lovely face.

The days flew by, a cursed swirling swarm;

Wine and passion tore  my life apart once…

Then I remembered you before the   prie-dieu lectern

And called to you as one calls to lost  adolescence.

I vainly called to you, but you did not look back;

I wept, but you didn’t absolutely deign to turn.

You rmrmwrapped yourself sadly in a dark blue cloak

And walked out into the damp night unwary…

I know not where you found a refuge stoke

For your pride, my tender eyes light.

I sleep soundly now, dreaming of that blue cloak

In which you vanished into the damp night…

No more dreaming of tenderness or glory;

All has passed, and reckless youth is gone!

Your familiar face in its simple frame ivory

I have removed from the table with my own hand!
