If you must fall,
Then fall like a shooting star—
So that even those who watch you fall
Still find you beautiful.
People love
Watching shooting stars fall,
But only to watch them—
Not to catch them.
And then there is you...
Sitting there, hoping
That those people might piece you back together.
But they are only watching your fall
While making wishes of their own.
So if you must fall,
Don't fall for their eyes.
Fall for yourself—
So that you can rise again.
Break in a way
That keeps shining,
And hold a silence
That echoes for a long time.

Thoroughly enjoyed the read
The ending is dynamite
Looking forward to reading more from you
Thank youuu, will try to post more!
A poem that reads like a proverb holding good advice in poetic form. Nicely written and imaged.
Thanks for your kind words!
You are most welcome
