Tick Tick Tick
Can you hear the clock
Every second taking us a step nearer,
Nearer to death and destiny
But you shouldn't fear
Life's a trip, a vacation
You should cherish the time
Until its time to go back home.
Bad days in this trip are like
Loosing your loved ones in crowd
Or loosing your purse in the market.
In the end of this trip
Your good deeds will be counted in
And you will reach back home to heaven again
This trip to Earth will teach you loads.
You will find a few beautiful souls
Nurture love, teach and go.
At times you will loose hope
Miss take a different road
And also make blunders.
You have got just one life for now
Don't know about six other
But while going with flow and rush
Don't forget to nourish yourself
And cherish your loved one.
The duration of each creature is unpredictable
So love and care them
Until its too late
And either of us are gone.

- Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this poem back when I was 17. There was an accident that occurred when the groom, on his way to the wedding venue, met with an accident and died on the spot. The bride and the family members kept waiting until the call arrived announcing his death. I did not write the poem from the perspective of just family, but everybody dies one day, and we never know their departure.

Uncertainty marks all things from quantum mechanics to our lives and we live in a world of probabilities a gamble where the house always wins. This we know all must die in the end it is just when the movie ends that we do not know. Well written
Thank you so much for coming by. I appreciate.
You are most welcome Samprikta
So true, we never know when our demise will occur
Exactly, so doing our best we can while we breathe.
most welcome
Live every moment like it's your last
One of these days it will be
Having discovered your writing
I've met one of those beautiful souls you wrote of
Keep em coming
Ohh my! Thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate.
