They walk where older stories bend and flow
not carved in lines the world demands to see
but held in ways the living winds still know
beyond the reach of simple you or me
the land remembers what the voices trace
when names were not yet forced into a frame
it keeps a deeper rhythm, slow in grace
where spirit moves without a need for name
No border holds what was not made to split
no rule can turn such wholeness into two
what lives within refuses loss of it
it simply is, and always will be true
so let the world expand its narrow sight
to hold a truth that does not need to fight
And still it moves beyond the lines we draw
not waiting for approval or for law
it carries on where language starts to fray
and finds new breath in every living day

What is in a name so said the bard and it is true taking on a name meant ownership and today this has in many cases been dispensed with in straight marriages where the woman retains her maiden name but in gay marriages it becomes a question of statement as opposed to ownership. And what is law but accepted group norms codified. Something I will be writing on soon. Well done my friend
