if Eve was Adam's equal,

why must she submit?

why when we say "mankind"

do we only mean men?

I could wait for something greater,

using signals to transmit.

you aren't your body,

why be defined by it then?

    I really like this Hayleigh.

    Short and very sharp.

    Hayleigh, that closing question really landed with me, my friend. 😄 "You aren't your body, why be defined by it then?" is one of those lines that keeps echoing after the poem ends. Thought-provoking write. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

    Something to do with the rib I gave you, putting me on a higher plane.
    Not forgetting how I direct you without using a map.
    Apart from that, women usually rule cos they know where everything is.
