the world greets you
and still you don’t see
brush your teeth
with the miswak from Africa!
and you still don’t see!
ah enjoy your tofu!
with the soybeans from America!
and you still don’t see!
would you like some coconut with that?
From Asia or the Caribbean? Your choice
yet still you do not see…
well as you wash away
with the soap from Europe
you still do not see…
the world has helped you live today
yet you think the world revolves for you?
fool! open your eyes and see love!
