Her wings felt heavy
Her head touched the cold beneath
Thoughts blurred
Or was it her sight ? She never cared
Halo above her was a vision
That she knew she could never envision
Racing white pearls adorned her face
And now she couldn't bear
The fallen wings
That once upheld her high
Lay broken and weary
As she sinks deeper into the abyss
She tries to keep her head high
Just for the world to be cruel
And kiss her a last goodbye
As her tired eyes closed
Forcefully, they bid their byes
She now joins the world
Whose stories were behind
Perhaps it was her choice
