To vanish

Souha

Oh dear, it’s happening again —

I’m losing myself after days, I know it’s certain.

A huge wave of sadness

is crashing into my chest

If you love me, let me lay there

Take me there

I have nothing left here

Let me lay in the ground

In fertile land

Where broken hearts dissolve like sand

Let this body erode

Let me vanish

Where sorrow softly goads and goads

Let this heart rest

Let this pain leave my chest

Let my skin breathe the scent of flowers

As I surrender to quiet hours
