Explosion of gas words in flame
Emotional glass shrapnel of blame
A boiler of anger heated too high
Pressured rancor burning pieces fly
Verbal lacerations inflections of terror
Bloody assassinations, a tongue's error

I like the conceptual unity emerging from imagery of pressure, explosion, and injury, which frames language as a physical and violent force.

This is me on a Monday morning.
The litmus paper is lit leaving the house.
The first explosion comes when the mad neighbour continues part 96 of her life story.
By the time I find the train is cancelled I'm on the moon.
Thanks so much Paul for the review and identification with this piece. I appreciate the understanding and support.
This poem exudes intense violence and emotion, with the speaker harboring profound animosity, consistently displaying aggression while attempting to belittle others. Nonetheless, it underscores the significance of recognizing the potency of language and the necessity for emotional control to avoid causing harm through our words, serving as a cautionary reflection on the repercussions of letting anger dictate our expressions.
Thank you friendship for your read and interpretation of this poem it is most valued my friend

Soren, this really moved me. The progression from pressure to explosion feels painfully familiar, and the imagery captures how destructive words can become when anger takes the wheel. Short, sharp, and impactful. Wonderful write, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
