had a little parrot he didnt seem to care
he used to talk a lot and sometimes used to swear
he had lots of colors red and green and blue
if you held out your hand he would come to you
he was very friendly oh so very cute
he looked just like a clown in his colored suit
he liked to talk a lot especially at night
but i could shut him up by turning off the light
then he would go to sleep as quiet as can be
then i would put my feet up with the parrot next to me.

Cute Jim parrots not the best of pets they tend to bond to one person of whom they can be very defensive, live longer than most owners, and can make a lot of noise learning to swear Andrew Jackson while president had one that would swear a blue streak and made scandal, Had a friend as a child that had one and the minister could never come over for the words it used.
