Peril at Sea

Raunak Sarkar

The way a sudden gale,

Came crashing through the blue,

It turned our faces pale,

Without leaving a single clue.

It slammed our shivering hull,

And tossed us here and there,

The burning sea grew dull,

Of dangers left to bear.

There is a satisfying feel to the rocking meter and the good rhyme that this poem gives. It matches the topic of waves and the sea and the wording is clever. A fave
