Swimming

fanghuzhai

Swimming

Huge was the lake
We came for pleasure's sake
We all knew each other
A temporary plan was made

The swimming being unplanned
We entered water naked
I grasped some water plants
Big and flat leaves I could rake

I turned and lied on the water
Using the fat leaves as flipper
Except I held them by hands
And propelled myself faster

Suddenly I found myself alone
By the opposite shore
None of them followed me
I had to return alone  for sure
