I dreamed I saw a beauty I knew,
Close to me and I said to her:
Now I know something unknown before:
I am two decades older than you.
This beauty I was infatuated with before
For she is truly a fair lady.
In poems I described her beauty
Thinking she was ten years younger.
In the dream I felt something went awry.
Maybe I should not have told her
That she is than I 20 years younger.
Dear readers, do you know why?
Waking up I felt as if I have committed some thin
I was like an elderly ox desiring fresh grass.
What must she have thought of me, alas!
An old fool at a pond scooping the moon therein
