Someone sing a song for one
Who hadn't yet had his
Send a prayer in smoke..evoke
Help.. from those already there
Pray for son..gone far too soon
Pray for mom..left here.. in grief
Pray for all who loved him
Too late..to say it now
It's always thus..so unforseen
One never sees what's coming
Pray for grandma...daughter's hurt
Pray for those remaining
Be strong

It is said when a scar cannot scream anymore, it starts to sing
Good write.
This poem seems dedicated to the death song, dirge, elegy, Monody, a requiem if you would. Nicely written
My stepdaughters son died at 17...then 2 weeks later
The mother herself passed...so yeah...it's about all the above you said
Sorry to hear all that my condolences
nicely said
