Loving You

Anthony Hanible

Loving you

Is a woven spell

A rising tide

I know too well

It’s the truth that blooms

When the night is through

Every road I walk

Still leads to you

Loving you

Is a heartbeat rhyme

A spark that strikes

In perfect time

It’s the rush of heat

When your fingers trace

The fire that lives

In the space of your face

It’s the way my soul

Leans close to your voice

How your touch turns fate

From chance to choice.

Loving you

Is a wild design

A storm

A calm

A holy sign

And every time

Your eyes break through

I learn again

What love can do

Loving you

Is a starborn thread

A cosmic pull

Where the lost are led

It’s the ancient hum

In the bones of night

The whispered oath

Between dark and light

It’s the echoed call

Of a fate once known

A kingdom built

Where our hearts have grown

Loving you

Is a sacred art

A map of fire

Across my heart

And in your gaze

The world turns new

Every myth I chased

Was pointing to you
