A Powerful Tribute
We rise in honor, strong and clear,
For those who face both pain and fear,
Who stand where freedom’s cost is paid,
And keep the peace their hands have made.
Through storm and fire, through night and loss,
You bear the weight, you carry the cross.
With courage deep and spirits true,
You give your all for this world for peace, but none greater than for the United States in which we live.
And we remember, with reverent voice,
That nations stand by heaven’s choice.
For God’s own Word has long declared,
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”
So from Joseph’s heart, this thanks we send
To every soldier, faithful friend.
May God protect you, lead you on,
And keep you strong till battle’s gone.
