Missing My Brain

Anthony Hanible

Beat in my chest

But none in my head

Feels like my thoughts

Got up and fled

Click in my step

But skip in my mind

Searching the room

For what I can’t find

Calling my brain

Yo where did you go

Left me on shuffle

Stuck on low

Checked every pocket

Checked every lane

Nothing but echoes

Calling my name

Walking in circles

Round and again

Trying to catch

That runaway friend

If you see it drifting

Down the drain

Tell it I’m lost

And missing my brain

Of all the things that I have lost I miss my mind the most. A fun read that is most relatable. Well said my friend
