Flytrap

Fränz Müller

Have you ever been caught

in a painful spot

you feel you can never escape?

The gravity

is far too strong

just leaving your mouth agape.

But then you remember

an option you have

to evade that gravity’s snare;

you fire all rockets

and, pinned to your seat

emerge to a morning quite fair!

    Fränz, what struck me most is how you turn a scientific reality into a human metaphor. The crushing pull of gravity becomes the weight of life's difficult moments, while the rockets become determination, hope, or ingenuity. The emergence into "a morning quite fair" makes for a wonderfully uplifting landing. Great job on this, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

    Well written. Your poem explores themes of overcoming adversity and finding hope in difficult situations. It presents a metaphor for struggle and the idea of breaking free from confines that seem inescapable.
