Rub your belly after that large and filling meal,
Eyes become heavy and the most relaxing feel.
Sleeping in the afternoon, silently napping away,
Those dreams disintegrate on waking, can't stay.

Short and to the point food requires energy to digest leaving us tired in need of rest. Love the cycle presented
Thank you.
You are most welcome Shaun
You gone to bed? How did you write this?! lol.
Always am in this heat lol.
I need to give it a rest from - that two-initialled guy. lol.
Shaun, what struck me most here is the quiet simplicity of it all...the comfort of a satisfying meal, the pull of an afternoon nap, and the bittersweet way dreams vanish with waking. It's an everyday moment we all know, and you brought it to life with warmth and honesty. Beautifully done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Cheers!
