If I'm no longer chasing your loyalty in the future 

 

I wonder if you can transcribe the pain in my heart 

 

We used to pull together in the shadows of resentment 

 

But you locked me in the cage of second guessing 

 

Even the illusion running in the middle of our kissing moments 

 

The wind of hope around you that carries my affection 

 

If the silence of forgiveness will never make me feel complete 

 

Maybe you will understand why you can't hold me close
