A Father’s role is essential for every child in this world. I would say never more so than to his little girl. We’ve insulted our men into believing that they’re to toxic and not needed. Listen to my words; don’t you believe them. Did you know that as a Father you’re a daughter’s first love? She’ll learn how to be treated, how she should be spoken to; please learn from God above. I’m not saying control and abuse are part of a Fathers role. What I am saying is your daughter will need you whether she is three or thirty years old. Did you know your son looks up to you? That he learns how to be a man and how to treat a woman by your own hand? Be sure you have God as your solid foundation. A man’s role is to lead; to protect; to provide; never allowing himself to cross the boundary lines. His role is to keep the bullies away from his daughter; those who mean her harm. To teach his son how to protect his sister and his mom. To work out those tough situations that arise in families; holding onto to Faith and Hope praying through disbelief. A fathers role is most needed in the world we live in today; it’s how Our Heavenly Father designed it to be today tomorrow and always.

Sharon, this is a heartfelt piece. The love and responsibility woven through it come across clearly from beginning to end. Beautifully expressed, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
