Metaphoric it makes it clear that petals falling reveal inner beauty and that they are attracted by the floral fragrance. The birds and the bees are attracted to these. Well done.

My friend, this is a lovely expression of love and admiration. The natural imagery, especially the roots and the "lilac of the south," gives it a peaceful, organic beauty. That reference to the crape myrtle brings me to my parents' yard which house these trees, which made this all the more enjoyable to read. Beautifully done. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
