Mimicrism masquerade

Algendhir

I have lost myself in an ephemeral dream

I was too blind to realize it wasn’t real

I wished too much for an eternity

That’s why I burned to ashes

When the curtains finally fell

I hate it, I hate it so much

I owe it to no one but myself

Too naive, too innocent to see it

But now it’s a lesson learned

So little pretty hearts, be careful

‘Cause the world will not let you know

That out there betrayal is a norm

So before you cave in

Remember the colors of a vow

As the light covers the darkness

Glitter coating can cover a dark soul

As evil is warped in divine hues

God will never let you stay on the floor

But the devil will use all his might to drag you down.
