The dragonfly with incandescent wings, flutters through the windy brook,
The daises float on the gentle pond, like a story from a children’s book.
The first page tells of natures way, in forests where the creatures play,
With trees so tall and leaves of color, adding mystic to the forests wonder.
I’ll saunter like a drop of rain, and gently fall so light,
Upon the head to wet and stain, and blur my drowsy sight.
My boots of black, high to my knees,
Have kept my feet so dry, the warmth of fall and falling leaves.
Gives insects wants to fly.
The fish swim in their schools, in the quickly flowing brook,
The forest and its ordered rules, nature and its nook.
The wind it whispered though the trees.
That had fallen to the ground, it covered all the dirt’s reprieve,
As we were walking all around.
The sky was light with the sun so bright,
My eyes could not shake off the sight.
My heart was warmed. By glowing beams,
Of the noon high sky, the weather and the sun it seemed.
Such beauty in a place like this for tired eyes to witness
A Cutie of a butterfly flew by my eye with such a sudden quickness.
OH forest of my heart and mind, oh brook of all my dreams,
I’ve kept you locked up in another time, with softly flowing streams.
Its all a place of solitude, lost inside a vison,
I keep its image close and true, the forest has arisen
