Behind the mask

Maplespal

If I was to die before my death,
would I be living without breath,
waiting to feel the future pain,
and would I die all over again?
Should I distantly echo a single shot,
just to end this little thought?
Enter deaths darkened side,
just to see if I actually died.
Thoughts and questions that I ask,
when I wear my faking smile mask.

Clever, good rhyme, nice meter and questions in poetic form that many of us think if not ask. Profound and a fave
