The neglected one.
The abused one.
The cursed one.
The good-for-nothing one.
Yet she lived.
"Why did you make me, Mother?"
"You were nothing but an accident."
The unwanted child.
Yet she lived.
There were cars in the driveway.
There were sarees in the cupboard.
"You may use one."
Yet she lived.
Then there was God.
There was divine intervention.
So she lived.
Still she lives.
"Life is precious," He said.

A strong poem of words. Your poem focuses on the themes of abandonment, survival, self-worth, and the search for love and acceptance. It portrays the emotional turmoil of the person who grapples with her identity as an "unwanted child," yet ultimately finds hope and affirmation in her existence.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to me.
Tragic, sad and dark this poem speaks of an unwanted child that against all odds continues to live on. Such a picture is far too common where children are unplanned and one gender is preferred to another. Very emotional.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I hope no child is abused anywhere in the world.
You are most welcome a beautiful thought
