surely you can see…
citizens needs are not met
do you need 8 boats?

Eat the rich
That’s not my type of diet
(Don't) eat the rich
I love this exchange all around! LOL! "Eat the rich". Followed by, "Nah, thanks though." Followed by, "Okay...don't eat the rich." 🤣 Simplicity at its best! This, for whatever reason, made me smile.
I am glad this exchange was able to make you smile haha. I hope you have a wonderful day, friend
Well said Demar it is not about need but about greed. It is not necessity but wants in a society where the few have the most and the most have the least.
Are we all greedy Soren? When was the last time you realize damn maybe I didn’t need all that? For me… I’ve had plenty of meals.
Some time ago I threw out or gave away all but clothes food roof and vehicle. I disposed of all memories in pictures, momentos, and frills. I do have a lap top and cell phone but life was much lighter with the disposal.
I maybe going down that path… I want to let go of materials and grasp onto substance
Demar, this really hit me. "Do you need 8 boats?" is such a sharp closing because it leaves the question hanging long after the poem ends. Sometimes the simplest questions expose the deepest contradictions. Excellent write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
