Sometimes being human means we won’t get it right. We will fall; we will fail; just continue to follow the light. Sometimes being human means we will make mistakes. If you can, apologize and make amends; be sure to do whatever it takes. Sometimes being human means we won’t see your perspective as clearly as you do; mine may differ far from you. Sometimes being human means you’ll go through struggles alone; God uses the wilderness to build you into His masterpiece; His mold. Being human means we are not perfect; don’t let this stop you in your tracks; know that you are worth it. Being human means you will be uncomfortable at times; this is where you grow the most; so don’t just run and hide. You’ll love the wrong person and that will lead to who is right. You’ll learn that everything in life is either a blessing or a lesson; continue to shine your light. You will be betrayed; it’s inevitable as we all are; this will have a power to tear your heart apart. Jesus was betrayed as well so He understands this pain; lay it all on Him; allow Him to make you whole again. Being human isn’t easy; we can’t just keep cutting people out of our lives; we must learn how to talk about the storms we carry inside. What do I know? I’m just some poet who has a deep love for God; well I’ve been hurt and hurt others too when my life was too hard. I know where I failed miserably and where I got it right. I know that God has been with me through out my whole life. God is good; I’m still human; He sees the damage inside us all and He knows how to use it.

A poem about expectations and self forgiveness as well as a reliance on a higher power. Well done Sharon
Sharon, this speaks to me. I think we all need reminders that failure isn't the end of the story, and that God's grace is often at work in the places we'd rather avoid. Thank you for sharing your heart, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Good write GS. Since when was I human in my relating to KP?! lol.
