Oh woe - got headache now!
It's trying to work out the crypticness of some poems
That does it!
C'mon now, Fido, explain all to me
Seeing as you know 99% of everything
And that leaves 1% for me (boohoo!)
All the cryptic stuff, riddles enigmas, what-have-yous
And what is an iambic pentameter?
I thought 'iambic' was something architectural!
Steady on now, says Fido to me
Not too long words there
As 'architectural' takes up several brain cells
To think up that (quite) long word!
Why don't you give up before you start?
Fido kindly asks me
You know you won't get any - or many -
Meanings of cryptic poems!
Heehee.

Orchi you make me laugh you are smarter than us all and understand more than you let on. My father always told me it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Oh there I did it opened my mouth. My wife told me everyone loves a fool but few love the wise. The fool in the king's court was the wisest man and the only one the king would take counsel from. Good write my friend
Thank you SB. lol.
Great job
Thank you F.
Your welcome
Orchi, you got me with this one! 🤣 I can just picture Fido doing his best to explain cryptic poetry while Popeye keeps interrupting with another heroic glug of spinach and declaring the whole thing perfectly simple. Poor Ol'Tom is probably still trying to knit an iambic pentameter into his next sock. He was saying that pentameter meant that each foot had ten toes, each a meter long. 😂 Good grief. We're doomed. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you T. lol. Their antics continue! lol.
I object to your pointing your objections in my direction. I take deep offense.
But you have a point - say it plain I sez, or don't say it at all.
Please make this topic a regular revival and remind all the cryptographologists out there of the KISS principle.
Thank you D. But surely Sir Orchi NS becomes cryptic himself, going off at bizarre tangents, not knowing what he's on about - though there's no change there then! lol.
I think you should stand on your head and simultaneously do deep breathing exercises. All will be well then, and the world will look in good condition...... definitely upside down at the moment...
I said in one poem - one of us - UK or Australia - is living upside down! And how's that winter there - just starting?
Funny stuff. Excellent.
Thank you T. lol.
