Fleeting feelings
Flow on the river of your lies
Dwelling deep
Burning up
and down, deep inside the mind
Why believe you?
As if I, my/self, were true...
Loving you
Living you
Loathing this ghost-like shadow of this "Self"
Salvaging Damaging Ravening Selfish "Self"
That I have perceived to be Another
The Mind dwells in this over/ever-expanding web of lies you have spun
All a lie
All a made-up construct of the mind
All a dream
akin to a sin
unseen by all but us
Damn the mysteries of this blood-pumping organ
Pumping for nothing for now
.... I am Down and Done for.
No need to flee
Not anymore.

Here is the combination of truth and lie the confusion of dreams and reality leading to giving up as a useless venture. Well written

Courtney, this really pulled me in. It feels raw, restless, and unafraid to wrestle with the tension between identity and illusion. The emotional intensity carries all the way through. Powerful write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
