Where did you go?

Tayama

Your here…did you leave?

You left…are you still near?

Your elusiveness is your perfected abusiveness.

Can’t you remain?

Why did you thrive on our pain?

I have witnessed your tenderness.

Ive felt your unconditional love.

Captivating yet usually fleeting.

For one who despises the wind…

Your constant storm assures us we can never win…

Your heart.

And as the dust settles, and the mist of your cruelty dissipates.

I look and wonder…Your supposed to be here, its late, are you safe?

Where did you go?

As I rock in your chair…the one we built for you to sit and watch them…

Running through the trees with smiles that brought us to tears.

They, like me ask…where did she go?

And we are consumed yet again by the sadness you leave…for you always do…

And as I remain in your chair, they sit with me… yet with no joy…

I dare not move, for they are attached to me like glue. In fear I might leave them too.

Yet we know, in the void of your heart, when you loved us, as we love you…we exist now on the fragments of then and somehow endure the damage you do.

And as the sun rises and then retreats, and another Christmas fades away…

I wonder will you ever come home, and ask me…now…where did they go?

As the pages in the book, we read to them, crumble, and fade…

And the peace we once knew, but for a moment, blurs and is forgotten…

Ive absorbed the damage you do…and pray they never have to endure, or choose, what I did for them, and not for you.

Where did you go?

Can I, they, ever accept what we always knew…

Your love was never true. Please…

Do not find us…will just pray for you.
