Your generous heart
In twilight speaks
With silent words
As night it creeps
Your hollowed face
Your weakened smile
I sit with you
One more time.
Elastic moments
Now are stretched
To accommodate
The hours left
We travelled together
Now crossroad reached
As you depart
I beseech.
Take good care
Of this generous heart
As into darkness
To depart
Upon its journey
So near so far
So close so distant
A sparkling star.
