I often wonder
when am I ever gonna accept beauty for myself?
I don’t believe it from others when they tell me
and I can’t tolerate it myself.
What does that mean by thought of beauty is broken.
I see it everywhere else accept within myself.

Why is it so hard to see oneself accurately? This a poem of poor self esteem that needs adjustment to reality
