I fly as a bright kite, reaching for the blue sky; it seems to be what you like.
You walk past me, but I choose to reach, hoping you'll see me.
I hear you speaking softly, but you choose to hide like a fearful turtle.
You marked what's mine, and I feel at ease, like your body touches mine.
But all I wanted was for you to choose me.
I feared my future, and perhaps you slowed it down, like the trees swaying with the gentle breeze.
I know you understand that I love like a butterfly finding its wings,
flying into a world full of colours it never knew existed,
each wave brings a new lesson, each wind a new path.
And though you may hide now, I believe in the possibility of us finding our way back in our own colourful world.
