मैं बात करना चाहूँ उससे
वो है मेरे अब पास भी,
वो दूर भी है मुझसे
पर है मेरे पास भी।
हमेशा उसकी राह ताकूँ
कर लूँ उससे बात, ये मैंने चाहा,
पर अगर मुड़कर बात कर ले वो मुझसे
फिर उसमें वो बात कहाँ।
उसकी शांति बहुत कुछ
कह देती है मुझसे,
बड़ा अजीब है उसका मौन रहना
मुझको मिला देती है खुद से।
सारे दुखड़े सुनाता उसको
वह सारी मेरी बातें सहा,
पर अगर चुप करवा दे मुझे वो
फिर उसमें वो बात कहाँ।
मैं जाना चाहूँ उसके साथ
काश ले जाए वो मुझे वहाँ,
पर अगर इतनी आसानी से ले जाए वो मुझे
फिर उसमें वो बात कहाँ।
साथ मेरे रहेगा वो,
जाऊँगा मैं जिस भी जहाँ,
पर अगर रोक दे वो मुझे
फिर उसमें वो बात कहाँ।
मैं गिरूँ या फिर उठूँ जिंदगी में
हमेशा वो मेरे साथ रहा,
मेरा साथ छोड़ अगर जाए वो
फिर उसमें वो बात कहाँ।
सारी धरती उसकी है
वही भगवान, वही महा,
पर उसे याद किए बिना जी लूँ अगर मैं
फिर मुझमें वो बात कहाँ।
