Let Freedom Ring

Tristan Robert Lange

Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Life is full of seasons. This is a season of transition for me, where I will be moving with my family to a new location. As such, with much logistics to consider, I am doing my best to keep up. Please know if I accidentally don't respond, it is not because I am ghosting or becoming distant. Once things settle after the move, I am sure life will return to some normalcy. In the meantime, and always:

Tristan πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›
i wanted to sing
in the state of
let freedom ring,
but that sadly

was not a thing,

for my song—
different—brings
a love for all
of humanity

of thee i sing.
but i came late
to understanding
that in this state

it is not freedom
that is free,
but the freedom
to conform
you demand
of me.

now

you’ve learned that
will never, ever be.

Unfortunately this poem is all too true. It rings of what little truth remains in a land of the free to comply and no privacy a fave my friend
